ACROSS NEVADA
We are based in the south, but a fair share of the work goes north — Reno and Sparks, Carson City, the naval air station at Fallon, and the sheriff's offices and volunteer departments spread across counties bigger than some states. Outside the valley everything ships, and that is the only part of the job that changes.
WHAT CHANGES OUTSIDE THE VALLEY, AND WHAT DOES NOT
The coin does not change. The factory, the proof, the tooling and the per-coin price are identical whether the box goes to Henderson or to Elko. What changes is the last step: inside the valley we bring the coins to you, and everywhere else they go on a truck.
That is worth two or three days and a shipping line on the quote. It is not worth much money — outbound ground shipping on a coin order is small against the coins themselves — but it is worth planning for when a ceremony date is fixed. The right time to mention the date is before the design conversation, not after.
SMALL DEPARTMENTS AND SHORT RUNS
Rural Nevada orders skew small, and small orders behave differently from large ones in a way that is worth understanding before the price surprises anyone. A mold is cut once and costs the same whether you order twenty-five coins or a thousand. Freight from the factory is close to fixed too. On a twenty-five piece run those fixed costs are most of the total, so the per-coin number is high; by three hundred they have almost disappeared into the run.
We do not hide that behind a minimum order. Twenty-five is a real order and we will quote it, and we will also show you what fifty, a hundred and three hundred cost on the same coin, because on a short run the step up is often much cheaper than people expect. At three hundred pieces the mold fee comes off entirely.
WHO WE BUILD FOR UP NORTH
Guard units, sheriff's offices, volunteer fire departments, search and rescue teams, and a steady stream of veterans' organisations and civic groups. The traditions are the same ones the rest of the country has; the runs are smaller and the budgets are usually somebody's own money.

- Do we pay more because we are not in Las Vegas?
- No. The per-coin price is set by the coin — size, thickness, finish, colour count and quantity — not by where it goes. What changes outside the valley is that the order ships rather than being hand delivered, which adds a few days at the end and a shipping cost that is quoted up front rather than added later.
- How much longer does it take to reach northern Nevada?
- Add a couple of days to a valley delivery for ground shipping to Reno, Carson City or Elko. It is a small difference against a two-to-three-week production window, and it only becomes a problem when a date is already tight — which is the case to flag at the quote stage, not after the proof is approved.
- Can you handle a rural county sheriff's office or volunteer department?
- Yes, and small runs are the norm there rather than the exception. A twenty-five or fifty piece order for a department with twelve people is a real job. The fixed costs — tooling, freight, design time — dominate at that size, so the per-coin figure looks high next to a big-city order. We show the price at several quantities so you can see exactly where that curve flattens.
- We are in Reno. Is there any reason to use a Las Vegas company?
- Same state, same time zone, same person answering the phone, and a company that will say no to a deadline it cannot make rather than taking the order and apologising later. If you want a physical hand-off instead, we are honest that Reno is outside the delivery radius and everything north of the valley ships.
