We are a veteran-owned coin shop headquartered in Las Vegas. Most of our work leaves the state, but a good share of it never gets on a truck at all — it goes to a squadron at Nellis, a station in Clark County, a recognition programme on the Strip, or a booth at a show that opens on Tuesday.
WHAT LOCAL ACTUALLY BUYS YOU
Most of the challenge coin industry is a web form and an email address. The company you order from is a marketing layer over the same handful of factories, and when something goes wrong at the die stage you find out by not hearing anything for a week.
Being in the same city changes three specific things, and it is worth being precise about which. You can hand over artwork and talk through it rather than describing it in an email thread. You can have the finished coins brought to you instead of waiting on a carrier and a tracking number that stops updating. And when a date is tight, the conversation about what is still possible happens on the phone in five minutes rather than across three overnight replies.
What it does not change: the coins are struck at the same overseas factory that makes everyone else's, because that is where the dies and the enamel work are. Anyone in this valley telling you they manufacture challenge coins locally at these prices is describing something other than what is happening.

- Are you actually in Las Vegas, or is this a national site with a local page?
- Las Vegas. The company is headquartered here and the coins are designed here. The dies are struck at our overseas factory, as every custom coin at this price is — anyone telling you otherwise is either paying five times as much or not telling you the truth. What is local is everything you deal with: the design, the proof, the person who answers the phone, and the delivery.
- Does being local make it cheaper?
- It removes the outbound shipping and it removes the wait at the end. It does not change the coin or the factory cost, so the per-coin price is the same as it would be in Denver. The saving is real but small; the time saving is the part people notice.
- How fast can you turn a coin around for a date I cannot move?
- Tell us the date first, before the design. Standard production runs about two to three weeks plus freight, and rush shortens the production side at extra cost. A hard date changes which options are realistic — that is why the quote form asks for it before it asks about finishes.
- Can we see a physical sample before ordering?
- Not of your coin — a sample of your design means striking the die, which is the expensive part of the job. What you get instead is a production proof: front and back at print size, with the colour count, edge, size and finish called out the way the die shop reads it. Nothing goes into production until you approve it in writing.
